How to not have fun skiing...

First:  pick a windy cool day
Second:  take a two year old who doesn't want to ride in the sled.

Third:  Have two year old throw a fit and insist on pulling sled himself (without gloves)
Fourth:  Actually go downhill in a sled.  Oh wait!  That was fun!  I guess all the misery was forgotten when we zoomed down the hills a few times.

I LOVE the Carousel

Tyler and I went to the Carousel for the first time yesterday.  He didn't want to leave, which was no surprise.  I had to bribe him with ice cream and the promise of more shopping.

The last day we were in Billings, Tyler and I went on a little drive to visit my friend Rebecca, and then my friend Stephanie.  It was a blizzardy day, and we were happy to have arrived safely.  It was nice to get out of the hotel and into an actual home with a microwave.  Steph has a little boy named Riley who is 4 months older than Tyler, and they usually get along pretty well.   Their conversations are very enigmatic.

Tyler doing what he does best...wait for food.  Rebecca offered him a PB &J.

Her due date was yesterday!  Wish we were able to see the baby.

Tyler and Riley, they had a great time playing

Back at the hotel room--keeping him busy with a Charlie Brown painting project.

Our Road trip so far..

We packed up and headed out to Billings for an extra long weekend.  Shawn is at a conference, and Tyler and I are tagging along.
Our first rest stop was at Wheat Montana.  I said "Tyler look at the tractors in the picture."  He looked at me, pointed at the picture and said "COMBINE."  I had no idea his 2 year old mind was separating out the different types of farm equipment.
Then later we ate lunch and I went and got a cup of fancy coffee.  I can't wait for the rest of the fun that is going to happen on our adventure.
