Memorial Weekend Camping

It was cloudy, and windy, and sometimes rainy, but we made the best of it.
Now we're ready for the real camping season to start!

We called the group around us "Pitbulls and Parolees" because of their pitbull dog, and the clothes and haircuts they had.

Getting the garden going

Tyler offered to help me continue planting seeds.  Things are slowly coming up and after a recent bout of rainy weather, the seeds need to be in the warm soil.
(all the green is kochia--to which I am allergic when it flowers)

I wanted to give Tyler pointers and information about spacing the seeds, but he was convinced that he knew what he was doing that I decided to let him run the show.

So we may have some tightly planted corn, beans, and zucchini.  And that's ok.

All I do is make food

Tyler had some buddies over recently.  I took some pics, and then a few more throughout the weekend.
After scrolling through my camera, I quickly realized that I spend a lot of time making food and cleaning up after kids.

Spring and things

We finally got the wagon wheels fixed (after 4 years) and the kids now have something to drive through the weeds!

The ditches are full

Scorpions are out

The bike rack grant I got is becoming a reality as the high school gets them built

Our dog Axel who used to be Gus

Lots of wildlife out back

It's just nice to be outside

Puppy #2

Tyler's school art show.  His "little critter" character was hung up, and is extra special because it has a dragon outline on the hat.

Our new little guy.

Don't be fooled, when he's not sleeping (he doesn't sleep much) he is barking and crying for his brothers and sisters.

Last weekend

Last weekend we went and picked out our puppy--a chunky lab.  He is going to miss his siblings this week when we go and pick him up!

Then we took a drive up the South Fork of the Shoshone River.  It was just a little stunning.
