*Gobble*Gobble

Well, the Tom didn't gobble for long.  Shawn and Tyler spent a couple of cold mornings outside waiting and calling for the Turkeys.  Tyler stuck it out for a while, but 23 degrees was just a little too cold and he was wanting to squirm around and go see what everyone up at the house were up to.

But he heard the gunshot and through the window saw the turkey flop around and it was about the most excited I've ever seen him.  It was a mad rush to get on the boots and coat and hat and run outside to catch up with Dad.  Prett good memories!

Hunting Eggs

Tyler's new hunting vest came in handy while he was out looking for eggs last weekend.
Grandma sewed it up and he loooves wearing it.

Along with the eggs, he found a "Cars" lunchbox filled with candy and matchbox cars.
What a find!!

Our Easter Sunday picture.  It was a beautiful sunny day spent with family.

Eggs

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend.  It was a beautiful Easter holiday.
Tyler and Grandma dyed eggs while we all watched.

The next day was the Easter Egg Hunt at the Rodeo Grounds and Park.  Lots of kids, lots of sun, and lots of fun!!

Tyler did pretty well.  He traded in the eggs he found for some trinkets and toys.  Good thing we practiced earlier that morning!

Spending the night in Butte

Tyler and I met up with Meg and her kids over in Butte this weekend.  We first went swimming at some hot springs, and then headed to Butte to stay in a hotel and bum around town.

Ashley, Cody and Tyler checking out the pit.

We also parked and walked around and looked at the sights.

It was nice to get out of snowy Lincoln, and walk on paved pathways and sidewalks!

Bouncin

Growing up, I always wanted a trampoline.  Never got one though so I had to rely on neighbors or friends in order to bounce.
Matthew and Tyler got static-y and sweaty out there.  And I learned that it is difficult to take a good picture of two boys on a trampoline.

Visit to a Garden Show

This weekend Tyler, Shawn and I went to Belgrade to go to a Garden Show.  It was held in a nursery down there.

We got to plant some flowers!

And Laura, Hailey, Matthew and Tyler walked around the landscaping.

There was a waterfall and a pond with giant fish in it.

But....I think Tyler's favorite part of the day was trying out the seats on different tractors.

Opening day!

The first day of the Community Garden Greenhouse was 40 degrees outisde, muddy, wet, cold, damp, yucky, dirty....
That didn't matter though, because inside the Greenhouse we were all so excited to stick seeds in the soil and talk about our hopes and plans for the upcoming growing season.

I had Isabeau and Foster help me make stakes with numbers on them.  Tyler wasn't feeling well so I left him at home and out of the cold.  We had lots of fun, and I can't wait for the sun to come out and spring to start.
