Canyon Photos

Tyler and I spent Saturday morning at Bighorn Canyon.  There was an Artist in Residence program where the artist led us on a short hike and taught us how to sketch what we saw.

I wasn't very good, but she reminded us that it was more about meditating on the details and the experience than exactly drawing the image.

My photo colors are dull, but the color of the rocks was actually vibrant.

Meeteetse

We had several conversations about what the name of the town means, and googling it doesn't give a very definite answer.
"Meeting place" or "near by."
Who knows; but Meeteetse was Neat-teetse.
Rodeo through a rainy window

They pretty much slept in their clothes after the Cody Rodeo, then put on shoes and were ready to go again the next day.

Give me a break, my feet were cold so I put on dorky socks.
