Fort Benton

We stayed a night in Fort Benton, which is right on the Missouri River.
Its claim to fame is the Lewis and Clark historical aspect, and also that it was a big deal once upon a time.

The Hotel was "charming."  Not really, we just didn't have any other options.  The rooms were very tidy, and the owner had a sense of humor.
Here was the continental breakfast:

The hotel hallway.  Our room was right next the guillotine headless man.
Aunt Marie would have LOVED it.
